How to survive a Remodel, Video and document

Pre Contract Process Document

Once you’re ready to start the process, you’ll work closely with our design team to bring your vision to reality. We’ll ask questions. We’ll listen carefully. We’ll plan meticulously. The experience begins in our on line showroom and local Tampa locations as a one-on-one collaboration. If you have plans, sketches, pictures, please bring these with you to your appointment. If you don’t, just bring your ideas! We’ll introduce you to the vast array of products and design solution available to you. Together, we’ll talk about unique needs, space requirements, cabinet styles, materials, finishes, appliances, scheduling and budgets. If measurements are unavailable, we’ll even schedule a meeting at your home.

Our next meeting will begin the excitement. We will meet with you to review our preliminary design and discuss the proposal estimate. We’ll present a plan outline, revised selection list, and visual renderings to date to help you visualize your new space, as well as suggested final finishes, product recommendations and the rationales behind our choices. By the end of the meeting, we hope you will have enough information to proceed to the final phase. We create a design retainer agreement to cover the ongoing development of your vision.

With the finalization of the design and with your approval, we will prepare our final pricing. The final layout, drawing attachments, Factory product specs and final pricing and signed agreement. We will collect a percentage of the project costs and begin the process of ordering. You will also begin working on next steps with our experienced Construction Project Management team. They handle the overall planning, coordination, and control of your project from beginning to completion.

Lead times for materials vary, generally the range for delivery is 1-6 weeks depending the item. Our office will be in contact during this time to keep you informed of the status of your order and to coordinate the delivery process. After your installation has been completed, your representative will meet with you to familiarize you with your purchases and confirm your satisfaction. This is the most thrilling moment for our designers and for you our client, and we look forward to sharing it with you. .
